Sargasso is a plastic recycling company focusing on Ocean Bound Plastic based in Malindi, Kenya. Since its inception, Sargasso has collected 15 tons of plastic waste from the shores of Malindi. We have developed a method of harvesting our plastic using the local community, mainly the fishermen and recovering addicts, to whom we pay favorable rates per kilo. To expedite the development of our business, an investor is being sought to inject funding worth USD 0.369M to purchase machinery and facilitate the production of our product.
