The project entails the production of orange sweet potatoes. Its primary goals are to increase agricultural production and reduce poverty and malnutrition within Bungoma County and specific sub-counties in Busia and Kakamega by strengthening food security and improving the incomes of the small farm holds. It also aims to increase productivity which will help create employment among the youths and women engaging in the OSFP value chain.
