Hotel Mary Castle Ltd trading as Hotel Mary Castle is an ultra-modern hotel located in Kitale in Transnzoia County in Kenya. Hotel Mary Castle sits on a 2acre piece of land, in Namgoi, Waitaluk, and Kiminini in Transnzoia County. This is approximately 8 km from Kitale town on Kitale Eldoret road and 15 minutes’ drive to Kitale airport. This is an ongoing project with phase 1 comprising of 20 rooms, 3 conference facilities, 2 Restaurants, kitchen, bar, Choma zone, coffee shop, fresh juice corner, a fitness centre (swimming pool, gym and sauna) wastewater management plant, ample parking and a health break facility. The second phase of the project which is yet to commence will comprise of 30 guest rooms, 5 cottages and a perimeter wall. The business owner has already injected KES 95,000,000 whereby KES 9,000,000 was used for the land purchase, KES 1,0000,000 for the infrastructure and KES 85,000,000 for putting up the super structure. However, the business needs another KES 116,524,570 to complete and operationalize the business. The second phase of the project which is yet to commence will comprise of 30 guest rooms, 5 cottages and a perimeter wall as well as doing the finishing, fittings and furnishing. Location and subsidiaries Hotel Mary Castle will be a four-star ultra-modern hotel standing on 2-acre land in Kitale. Kitale is an agricultural town in the northern Rift Valley, situated between Mount Elgon and the Cherangany Hills. The town has an elevation of around 1,900 meters (6,200 ft.) above the sea level Kitale is reachable by air through Kitale Airport. The National Museum of Western Kenya is located at Kitale. It is a natural history museum and was originally created by Lt Col. Hugh Stoneham in 1926.Just next to the museum there is a demonstration farm with agroforestry practices run by a Swedish non-governmental organisation called Vi Agroforestry. Kitale is known for some of its popular attractions, which include: Kitale Nature Conservancy, Saiwa Swamp National Park, Kitale Museum and Treasures of Africa Museum. For now, we will only operate in Kitale.
